Look closely! This artwork is made from hundreds of tiny pieces of hand-cut glass stringers (approximately 2mm in diameter) full fused to create a brilliant blue color shift. Southworks National Juried Art Exhibit, 2016 (Stephen Wicks, Juror)
Breaking Through (22.5″ x 18.5″)
Fused and Cold-Worked Glass made from sheet glass, dichroic glass, & frit. Subway tile patterned glass created separately, then smashed and surrounded by layers of clear and black-backed dichroic glass pieces, and topped with a frit glass spiral. First Place – Fine Craft, Helen Arts & Heritage Center, 2016 (Josef Mahler, Juror)

Fused and Slumped Kiln-Formed Glass Platter made from hand-crafted components including glass bars fused “on-edge” and cut to create the rainbow of triangle pieces and white and black dots made from glass rods. Southworks National Juried Art Exhibit, 2017

Water Bowl I (3″ x 14.5″ x 14.5″)
Fused and Slumped Kiln-Formed Glass made from sheet glass and hundreds of hand-cut 2mm stringers in aqua tint, light aquamarine blue, & turquoise blended and fused to create a watery, ripple texture in a brilliant blue color shift.
