Jerusalem Bowl
This bowl is made from over a thousand cut 2mm stringers of White, French Vanilla, and Turquoise glass meticulously placed by hand and fused to create the mesmerizing pattern and texture. The glass colors were inspired by the colors of the Jerusalem city flag; however, they were also chosen for their reactive nature to symbolize how this ancient city is holy to three major religions, Judaism, Islam, & Christianity, that often conflict with each other. Note where the French Vanilla comes into contact with Turquoise it turns brown and where it comes into contact with White it turns gray. The bowl rests on a stand made from cow horn.
The Elements Series
A collection of bowls made from thousands of cut 2mm stringers of glass meticulously placed by hand and fused to create mesmerizing patterns and texture. This series uses the deep-form slumping process in various stages as it explores the organic connection between glass, the elements, and humanity. This series seeks to create parallels between the similarities and differences of these groups recognizing that all are unique, beautiful, and bound by our interdependence.

Vessels
Look closely! This artwork is made from hundreds of tiny pieces of hand-cut glass stringers (approximately 2mm in diameter) full fused to create a brilliant blue color shift.
On Edge
A series of art and artisan pieces utilizing the “on edge” fusing process in order to reveal the inner beauty of the sheet glass. The process to create these pieces involves taking flat sheets of glass, cutting it into strips, and standing them on their edge in the kiln. The glass is damned to control the glass flow and insure the face of the glass fuses together. After fusing, the edges are cold-worked with a wet-belt sander. Finally, the glass is placed back in the kiln to be fire-polished and slumped. The “on edge” fusing reveals the inner beauty of the glass creating a truly unique and mesmerizing effect.

Mosaics
This series of glass art is made up of pieces of glass placed together like a mosaic puzzle. They are both beautiful and functional as they are food safe! You may order multiple pieces, but they are one-of-a-kind… so no two dishes will be exactly alike. The pictures below offer examples of the different colors and shapes available. Allow 4-6 weeks for your pieces to be delivered. 🙂
